Welcome to the Derby City Brew Tours FAQ section! Here, we've compiled answers to the most common questions about our tours and services. Whether you're curious about the types of tours we offer, how to book, or what's included in your experience, you'll find all the information you need right here. If you have a question that's not covered, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. We're here to help ensure you have an unforgettable time exploring Louisville's finest craft beers, bourbons, and culinary delights!

  • WHAT IS THE COVID-19 POLICY?
    Due to the current public health climate, we will be complying with all CDC social distancing requirements on our public tours. We are modifying our tour structure to ensure the health and safety of our customers remain paramount. The following modifications have been made to our tours. - All Brew Bus employees will be required to wear masks when driving and in brewery. -Brew Bus will be sanitized thoroghly during and after each tour. -Brew Bus Passengers must wear mask on board brew bus. - All pubic tours will be limited to 8 people or less. -All passengers must sign a waiver and Covid 19 policy. If you have been sick/ill in the past 30 days please do not book a tour. -We encourage you bring and wear a mask when interacting 6ft around others. -We encourage you to stay 6ft apart from others while walking on tour route.
  • WHERE DO WE MEET?
    We will meet at 930 Mary St Louisville KY 40204. Private residence pickup/dropoff available for $35 each way.
  • HOW MANY BREWERIES WILL I VISIT?
    Each of our tours will visit (3) Louisville breweries. All stops are subject to change based on hours of operation and special events at the breweries.
  • ARE THE BREWERIES THE SAME FOR EACH TOUR?
    No. Due to the different hours of operation for each brewery, the tours will adjust accordingly.
  • HOW LONG WILL THE TOUR LAST?
    Each tour will last approximately 3 - 4 hours.
  • WHAT DOES THE TOUR INCLUDE?
    3-4 hour tour of 3 local craft breweries Four 3oz-5oz samples at each spot Pretzel necklace Behind the scenes tour of brewing operations Unlimited water bottles of water on the bus
  • DO I HAVE TO BE 21 TO BUY A TICKET?
    Yes, no questions asked.
  • HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE BUS HOLD?
    The bus will hold 11 passengers. Please email keith@derbycitybrewtours.com or call 502-208-9954 for tours over 11 passengers.
  • IF I BUY A GROWLER, CAN I BRING IT ON THE BUS?"
    Yes! We will have coolers available for you on the bus to keep your growlers cold and cups for you to use.
  • CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL ON BOARD?
    Alcohol consumption onboard is prohibited. The only alcohol that is permitted on the bus is beer purchased at the breweries.
  • IS THERE WATER AVAILABLE ON THE BUS?
    Yes, unlimited water bottles are available on board.
  • WHAT IS THE BEHAVIOR AND SICK POLICY?
    Keep in mind that the beers that you will be sampling can be up to three times higher in alcohol by volume domestic beer. We want you to have a good time but if you become too intoxicated to the point of being disruptive to other bus passengers or brewery guests, you will be ejected from the bus and NO refunds will be given. If you get sick on the bus you will be charged up to $150 as a clean up fee.
  • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/RETURN POLICY?
    All cancellations must be made 7 days in advance of your scheduled tour. Please contact us at keith@derbycitybrewtours.com to cancel. If you notify us with at least one week notice, you will be given a full refund, or you can select an alternate date. No refunds will be given nor any rescheduling allowed if reservations are cancelled within one week of the start of the tour.
  • WHAT IF I’M THE ONLY ONE WHO BOOKS A TICKET?
    We reserve the right to cancel a tour if less than six (6) people have not booked 24 hours prior to your tour. At that time, you will be refunded your money, or you can select an alternate tour date.
